Another World Dive Pocket Tee

It was my first open-water dive. I was sitting on the side of the boat, trying not to think about how much water was beneath it. My dive buddy was looking over the edge like we were about to miss something good. “I haven’t been in a while, and my gills are feeling dry,” she said. “There’s a whole other world down there. Once we were underwater, the nerves settled. There was too much to see. Back on the boat, she could barely wait for me to get my mask off. “Did you see the two sea turtles?” She was practically bouncing. “Two. On one dive.” I was trying to figure out how soon we could go again.

Eventually, the gear came off, a dry shirt went on, and we headed ashore for lunch.
