Coast Trash Clothing Company is a coastal lifestyle brand built for people who feel most like themselves near the water.
If you know the Coast, you know the shift that happens when you get close enough to smell salt. Your shoulders drop. Your brain gets quiet. Stay away too long, and life can start to feel like it’s on pause until you make it back.
The moments that keep pulling us back are not complicated. A quiet porch. Coffee before the heat shows up. Wind coming off the water. And some evenings, the sky is on fire as the sun sets in the west before giving way to a moonrise in the east. The kind of evening you remember later when you’re nowhere near the shoreline.
This started as a personal project with a simple goal: take that feeling and build something real out of it. Everyday things with a little of the Coast in them, made for people who understand that home isn’t always an address. Sometimes it’s the place your chest unclenches.
If you’ve ever picked up a piece of sea glass and turned it in your hand, you understand the kind of story we like. Something ordinary made smooth by time and tide. Something simple on the surface, with more behind it if you know where it came from.
Meet the characters
The Coast has characters. So do we.
Ophelia, the opossum
Sweet-faced, unbothered, and careful about where she spends her energy. Playing dead is one of her specialties. She also knows when to show her teeth.
Milo, the pelican
Watchful, patient, and always ready to follow the wind. However far he roams, Milo knows where home is.
Odysseus (Ody), the crab
Our little crab with big confidence. Fearless and usually convinced he should be running the show. Ody leads the kids’ collection.
Grifty, the seal
A smooth talker with a warm welcome and an angle. Grifty is delighted to see you, particularly when there is something in it for him.
Napoleon (Poe), the bear
Round, hungry, and thoroughly pleased with himself. Poe takes mealtime seriously and settles comfortably into the rest that follows.
Made with care
We care about the details: how a tee feels and drapes, how the artwork sits, and whether the design belongs on the thing you’ll actually use. Crescent moons, horizon lines, coastal badges, and our cast of characters each have a place here.
Helping keep beaches clean is something we care about deeply at Coast Trash Clothing Company. Our collection includes select products made with organic cotton or recycled materials, and we plan to expand our eco-friendly options. We choose those products with comfort and durability in mind. Each product page tells you which materials and features apply to that item.
A portion of proceeds from sales supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
